JT Records was started in 1980 by Sid Talmadge and
Jerry Talmadge. Two of the Original Hit Men of the Record Industry in Los Angeles California with the Release of LA's
own SPEED LIMIT. With the release of the 45 Single of "In the Middle of the Night" by Sped Limit founded by Keith
Tolmich and Danny Schneider JT Records was under way! The single was shortly picked up by Local Radio Stations KROQ and KNAC
and was favorably reviewed by Cashbox and Billboard Magazines. Speed Limit played many gigs all over Southern California at
such Famous venues as The Roxy, The Whiskey, The Country Club and The LA County Fair! They also were featured on NBC
Today in LA as well as CNN News! Speed Limit's EP "Physically Hooked and Addicted to Love" really kicked things
into high gear when their remake of Nancy Sinatra's "These Boots are Made for Walkin" was picked up again on
KROQ where it made its way onto regular rotation and became a staple on the LA Radio scene. Danny and Keith
were then overwhelmed when Hewitt Abner (Abner as he was known) wanted to work with Speed Limit. Abner was the President of
the original Vee Jay Records and was actually responsible for signing the Beatles to their first American Recording Contract.
He also represented Stevie Wonder where Jerry Talmadge met him while distributing for Motown Records. Danny Schneider and
Keith continue to write together and Keith is now collaborating with his new bandmates as well!
Keith T. went on to several projects such as Keith T & the Truth, The Keith T Band and a new
line up of Speed Limit which included Klondike Karl of KROQ fame as well as guitar wizard Bob Haag from the Internationally
known band....SPARKS featuring Russell and Ron Mael which dominated LA airwaves in the 80's with hits like
"Cool Places", " All You Ever Think about is Sex" and "I Married a Martian". JT Records also
released CD's from The Caribbean All Stars featuring Carlos Santana and also Orange County California's own Michael
Ubaldini & Mystery Train which recorded their CD at JT Records studio in Los Angeles. Keith also recorded his
first solo CD there featuring his single "Sugar Sugar" used by the American Diabetes Association!

In 2010 Keith T brings 2
new projects and his Label JT Records to Orlando, Florida! Speed Limit returns with Keith T, his son Jeremy on drums and Obijuan
on guitar with their new release "Loud Fast...Fun" featuring their Tribute to NASCAR Racing and some Speed Limit
